I think you need to update! Apple is also recalling their iBook 12″ batteries and powerbooks that were manufactured in the same Sony plant as the dell batteries. OOPS!!!

Can I have a few more hours to get out of Arkansas and back into Texas before I have to update it? It would be really nice to have enough time to get home and see if my PowerBook gets a new battery (fingers are crossed!).
Nope, sorry. A tech savvy person like you gets no grace period. Arkansas or not. Besides, I saw it on the news on like, Thursday, and you weren’t in Ark. then… 🙂 My iBook is not affected.
