Dear Dad,
Thought you might be missing me so I'll tell you about my day.
I got up in the middle of the night, snuck into the living room and found
that sacking out on the couch with a pillow for my head was pretty comfy.
I woke up, ate my breakfast, went for a walk and then helped Lyn in the
garden all day. I found out that laying on the new plants for my nap was
not a good thing. I chased a lot of bugs, ate some flys and visited the
goats and chickens. I figured out that the baby squirrels live in the
wood pile. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
Bunny sat on her pillow and let me sniff her before she jumped back in
her cage. I was very gentle and tried not to scare her. I'll go for another
walk tonight and help with the evening chores. I guarded the farm well
and made sure the Schwann's man knew not to mess with anything or I'd
tear him to pieces. I was very convincing.
All in all there are a lot of responsibilities for me but I'm trying to
do
a good job. Lyn must think I'm doing OK because she let me have one of
her sausages for a treat. I expect I'll sleep well tonight after being
on patrol all day.
Love,
Brutus
